All Sandyman had to do was properly fork his work in the git so the changes can be seen by the original author and the rest of the world, but he refused. Open source means open source, but there are conditions to editing open source code.
Open source licenses are very explicit
What a nursery. I've tested this 10 version of this Peeter for the last few days. Dude, the second boot after setting up the WLAN, the host can no longer be found on the network. Lots of jokes.

That won't happen because the source wont released to pilfer. Peeter has made many more advances, like USB Rubber Ducky
