I got a ps3 to downgrade from a returning customer of mine. I tested ps3 functionality and all looked good. I got several valid dumps with different e3 clips and all produce a bad ros1 header. So I removed the e3 flasher and booted the ps3 up to see if I can find the problem. I decided to update from 4.70 FW to 4.81 OFW to see if that will fix the bad header. While installing it fails with an error code 8002F147 or in safe mode that it is corrupt (8002F2C5). I know my flash drives are working since i downgraded a ps3 before I tried to this one. I have no clue what's wrong with it. Can the ros1 header be fixed manually or....?
PS3 CECHK01 BAD ROS1 HEADER

change hard drive and test new

Tried that and same errors.
-
nor broken?!?
Patch the original nor backup and check with dumpchecker to error.
Is the patched backup ok, they can play it with E3 to nor.If the error is still there, the nor must be replaced
Or has cold solder joint, or broken pin

Like I said the ps3 had a bad hash 1 header, when I dumped multiple times. I did NOT patch the console. That's why I tried updating it to see if it will fix the error, but everything I tried just gives me error codes

Can I get my dumps verified????
I patched to 3.55 FSM and when I use the psp jig to go into fsm, ps3 won't turn off, it just stays on. This ps3 has me clueless. -
Patch the NOR vit PS3Dumpchecker noFSM (forse it), write it to NOR,and all should be OK

If the ROS1 or ROS0 header is damaged and the rest is correct
Then you can patch the backup and playThe header is repaired when patching
