    What's New?


    Added channel loading with hooks, channel menu supports same database.txt format as AnyTitle Deleter MOD to replace the channel IDs with channel names (put database.txt at the root of the SD card)
    Ocarina works on channels
    ELF/DOL loading from geckoload now works
    Optionally the directory data/gecko can contain the codes folder, patch folder, gameconfig.txt, config.dat, and background.png instead of the root of the SD card
    GC memory cards are no longer detected as a USB Gecko
    Changed how exit works; if a loader other than the homebrew channel was used (or an old version of the HBC) it will return to the system menu
    Fixed a text overlapping bug that would happen if a disc error occurs and Ocarina is on

    Introduction


    Welcome to my ISO-420 Certified Review of the latest and greatest version of the Gecko OS. The Gecko v1.9 is a homebrew application that allows you to boot imports with the ability to force the display output and also allows you to use cheat codes in your Wii™ games. The Gecko OS is also a powerful tool when combined with the USB Gecko a small device that fits into the GameCube™ memory card slot and interfaces with your computer using a high speed USB v2.0 connection. When you combine the Gecko OS with the USB Gecko you'll have the ultimate Nintendo Wii hacking tool which allows you to use full game remote debugging suites, cheat engines, file up-loaders, music players, screen grabbers and DVD utilities.

    This is the contents of the USB Gecko device. Note that this device is not needed to run the Gecko OS, but if you want to hack your own cheat codes, use the remote debugger or use the USB Gecko's enhanced features you'll need to pick on of these up. The USB Gecko is about 1/3 larger then a normal GameCube memory card and houses a Mini USB connector on top of it. Yeah, if you're going to be hacking away you'll need to have your Wii close to your computer to use the USB Gecko.
