Raspberry Pi Not Booting After OS Installation

  • Hi everyone,

I'm having trouble with my Raspberry Pi after attempting to install Raspberry Pi OS. I followed the installation guide;but now it won't boot up properly.

I’m using a Raspberry Pi 4 Model B with an official 5V 3A power supply and a 32GB SanDisk Class 10 SD card. For installation; I used Raspberry Pi Imager.

After completing the installation; I inserted the SD card into the Raspberry Pi and powered it on. The LED indicators on the board show the red LED is on; and the green LED flashes briefly; but I see no output on the screen, & the boot process doesn't seem to proceed. I have checked https://www.raspberrypi.com/do…ters/getting-started.htmlcpq documentation guide but issue has not been resolved.

I have already taken several troubleshooting steps. I verified that the SD card is correctly inserted; re-imaged it with the OS using different imaging software, & tried using a different power supply and HDMI cable. I also ensured that the HDMI output is correctly connected to my monitor.

If anyone has faced similar issue ? I would greatly appreciate your help!

    Thank you! :smiling_face_with_sunglasses:

    Approved the thread.
  • Have you tried connecting your HDMI-cable to the other HDMI-Port on the Raspberry Pi 4? The Raspberry should have two HDMI-Output-Ports but will, as far as I know, intially send the output signal only via one of the HDMI-Ports. If you connect to the wrong one you will have no picture.

I had a similar issue after setting up a Raspberry Pi with no image sent to the TV and tried many things until I realized I just had the HDMI-cable connected to the wrong output port.
