Schon im letzten Jahr wurden zum Weihnachtsfest an Auserwählte die ersten
Exemplare der PlayStation®Network Cards verteilt. Offiziell hieß es, dass die Karten
dann im Frühjahr 2008 auch an die Endverbraucher gelangen.
Nun bestätigte Peter Dille (Senior Vice President, Marketing & PLAYSTATION Network)
im offiziellen PlayStation Blog nochmals, dass die PSN Cards noch im Frühling in den
USA erscheinen werden:
Desweiteren kündigte er noch für 2008 einen Video-Dienst für die PS3 an, sowie die
lang erwartete InGame-XMB. Für beides gibt es leider noch kein genaues
Erscheinungsdatum.
They will have the PlayStation Cards in denominations of $20 and $50 starting this
spring. This will provide you with another option to get on board with the
PLAYSTATION Store and enjoy the content that I’ve outlined above.
We know you want in-game access to XMB features and we’re committed to bringing
that, among other community-related services this year. They will be designed to
allow more community development and collaborative gameplay, as well as recognize
and reward you for your gameplay accomplishments across a broad portfolio of PS3
games.
