Zwei Tage sind nun nach dem offiziellen Release von PS Vita in Europa vergangen. Wie aktuell bekannt ist, arbeitet der Developer Wololo immer noch an dem Homebrew Loader für den jüngsten Handheld und gibt nun einige seiner Sichtweisen an die Öffentlichkeit weiter. Hauptsächlich besteht die Gefahr, dass Sony nach der Veröffentlichung des HBLs die jeweilige Lücke entfernt.
Um dieser Gefahr zu entgehen, hält der Entwickler die Infos bezüglich des Homebrew Loaders vor. Auch der Name des benötigten PSVita-Titels wird bisweilen strikt geheim gehalten. Ein genaueres Datum, sowie kleine Hinweise sind nicht genannt worden. "Ich bitte euch um Geduld, der HBL wird mit größter Sicherheit erscheinen", so Wololo.
"A final word: what I will be distributing is just HBL, a loader for psp homebrews. You can already run PSP homebrews from a regular PSP, with a better compatibility rate, and for a cheaper price. So please, don’t get too excited. I don’t want people to come back at me after they try it, and tell me “wow, it’s difficult to use, I’m constantly afraid that Sony will patch it so I’m never using the PSN anymore, only half of the homebrews I tried are working, and this doesn’t have any access to the Vita hardware…”. Yes, I’m aware of that, and I’m sure much better and convenient hacks will come in the future, so please, please, keep that in mind when you get (or not) access to the info.
