    Ich finde das auch langsam nervig !
    Ein Dongle für rund nen 70iger und das einzige was kommt sind Updates für die FW!?
    Vom TB Team selber kamen schon seit 22.3. keine Fixies mehr sondern nur Firmware Updates.
    Im übrigen was sollte sonst nach der Version stehen!?
    Vorher stand da Version 4.11(Spoofer)TrueBlue 2.62 weil eben TB FW 2.62 drauf war !
    Nach dem Update auf 2.7 steht eben TrueBlue 2.7 weil 2.7 drauf ist das ist eben so.
    Wo zum Donnerwetter ist da die Neuerung ich seh keine.

    Andy2 Ich hoffe du hast gelesen was oben steht, denn falls du einen Nachbau oder einen Clone hast, kannst du es erfahren, ohne dass du das Teil aufmachen musst. Es gab schon vorher unmengen an Fragen ob der Stick original ist oder nicht. Das ist worum es geht. Ausserdem hab ich dass Gefühl, dass es wieder so eine Sicherungsgeschichte ist. Damit könnte man möglicherweise den Clone "platt" machen.

    Hm 70´€ für den TB dongle?
    Könntest Dich doch vorher mal beser informieren,
    den TB gibts mittlerweile zwischen 40-50€ jenachdem wo man bestellen würd.
    Klar ists immernoch kein schnäppchen, aber nunja immerhin günstiger als 70€.


    Desweiteren: Update heißt nicht unbedingt das immer was neues dazukommt.
    Sicherheitsupdates oder sonstwas darfs auch mal geben.
    Frage mich wieso man deswegen so ne welle macht.

    Normalerweise ist es so, dass wenn du auf der I-net Seite von TB bist. Bei den Patches dabei steht in Form einer Klammer also z.B. (JAP) oder (EUR). Aber du kannst dir hier im Board die Liste der Patches angucken. Dort sollte stehen, welche Version läuft. Aber das man sofort sagt alle japanische Spiele gehen mit allen Versionen ist nicht möglich.

    True Blue Dongles werden jetzt mit Security Sticker ausgeliefert!


    New packaging for True Blue incorporating security measures and an updated picture identification reference for clones


    Due to the recent emergence of clones we are introducing a new packaging system and a security sticker on the dongle itself to help ensure customers receive original True Blue dongles.


    Firstly, a new blister pack with a label over the blister will be introduced, as shown below. This provides several measures for the user to identify if the True Blue device received is likely to be original. Note the unique security patterns in silver which are difficult to counterfeit, due to the colour variations on the background colours, materials used and complexity of the pattern itself. If the label appears to be stretched or appears to have been used before, then careful attention should be paid to the security sticker on the dongle itself.

    The security sticker adhered to the dongle itself (shown below), partially covering the cap will provide the user with an indication of whether or not the dongle has been tampered with before delivery. Therefore, if the portion of the sticker covering the dongle cap has been broken, then it is possible that the dongle may have been tampered with. If this is the case, please use the TrueBlue 2.7 firmware as a means to check the authenticity of the dongle. If the word clone appears in the PS3 XMB where the TrueBlue 2.7 version number is stated, then you should contact your reseller for assistance. Security stickers are designed with a number of security considerations in mind and are very difficult to reproduce exactly. This will aid retailers and end users in determining whether the product received is an original.

    Some original True Blue dongles are in the supply chain yet to be sold, which do not have the new packaging. If you receive a True Blue dongle without the new packaging, then simply use the True Blue 2.7 firmware to identify whether or not it is an original. Details can be found on the information page and inside the 2.7 firmware download package on the downloads page.


    Finally, we are updating the picture references for users to identify whether their PCB is an original True Blue or a CLONE. We have released several revisions of the True Blue PCB’s which are shown below. The recent CLONE posing as True Blue in a similar casing is also shown below and referenced as CLONE. If you have received one of these clones instead of the original True Blue you ordered, then you should contact the retailer who you purchased it from for a refund.

    Wenn die nur Halb soviel Zeit für das Erstellen neuer Patches investieren würden als für so eine Kacke könnte man das Teil mit gutem Gewissen weiterempfehlen.


    Das TB Team erinnert mit diesem Rumgehampel stark an Sjeep und dem DMS4 und es würde mich nicht wundern wenn die hinter diesem Teil stecken.


    Service und Kundentechnisch gesehen ist das Teil für den A.R.S.C.H, wenn es z.Z nunmal nicht die einzige Möglichkeit wäre 3.60+ Spiele auf einer CFW zu zocken.


    Aber das ist nur meine persönliche Meinung zu diesem Teil.

    Für die Sjeep/DMS Vermutung gibt es sogar einige "sehr gute" Anhaltspunkte.



    - Sjeep aka FilterX aka Mr. van Veen hat gute Kontakte zu Maxconsole.com, PARADOX und PS2Dev


    - Er ist ein begnadeter Programmierer der sich hervorragend mit Verschlüsselungtechniken/Algorithmen auskennt.


    - Der TB ist qualitativ sehr gut hergestellt, wie damals die DMS Chips


    - Und zu guter Letzt ist der Admin von Maxconsole der sich stets mit dem Kontakt zu einigen Oldschoolern rühmt: GaryOPA von PS3Crunch dem (in)offiziellen TB Support Forum !!!


    Reine Verschwörungstheorie, oder ein Schelm wer Böses dabei denkt !!! :PP

    Ich sehe das so. Es wurde sicherer gemacht um die Kunden nicht abzuschrecken, denn es gibt nun mal Leute die sich lieber keinen Stick kaufen, um nicht an eine Fälschung zu kommen. Da kommt möglicherweise auch ein Gedanke, sich einen Clone zu holen, etwas, wovon es keine Fälschung gibt. Ist natürlich traurig für Leute, die einen Originalen besitzen, denn scheinbar wurde die ganze Zeit an der Firmware sowie der Entwickliung von dieser Sicherung gearbeitet, wodurch es noch keine neuen Patches gibt.
