Notes:
- Uses experimental libogc fixes on libsdcard
- Rips a Wii game in 1.2hrs.. 5hrs on shitty SD cards
- Compatable on a GC console or a Wii console
- No modchip needed, just boot it somehow
- Read Error detection and retry mechanism implemented
- Dont cry if your SD card is formatted accidently!
- If you switch off the console or take out the SD card etc then there will be a non-deletable file on your SD card and you will need to format it again.
Requirements:
- Wii or GC
- GC controller (no i'm not making any reset button combo.. sorry)
- Way to boot shite
- SD GECKO
- SD card formatted as FAT16 (fat32 also but untested)
- Patience
Usage:
- Version 0.1 is for experienced users and mainly as a BETA!! (YES I CANT STRESS THIS ENOUGH, ITS JUST A BETA!).
- Spend 2mins setting it up at the start, L, R to adjust dump size.
- With that being said, files will need to be manually put together. They are dumped as "GAMEID-0.bin GAMEID-1.bin .. etc" example: "GPOP08-0.bin GPOP08-1.bin .. " would be PSO PAL.
- Please report back the speeds etc, and always have in mind that this is a beta!
Testing:
So far I've basically just let it run through once on my 1GB card and it dumped Super Smash brothers just fine. Hope everyone can report back some useful findings and in the meantime I'll be working on other things!
