MPlayer_CE has turned into a extremely powerful media player.
Can play files from
SD-HC
USB
DVD video & DATA DVD
SMB Samba
RADIO
Easy setup on Windows XP/Vista (Linux users, your require latest SMB instalation etc)
just keep trying, windows is more user friendly
Create a folder on a root of any partition hard drive....
e.g.
C:\Movies
right click the folder, click share & security, click SHARE ON NETWORK ok & apply!!!
Once that is done go into smb.conf (fill in the smb.conf like my e.g. below,
if you DONT HAVE A PASSWORD, put a 0 like mine...... pass=0
it should look like this....
ip=192.168.0.206
share=Movies
user=MyNameIsDynamite!
pass=0
Radio, if you want to add more Radio streams, they need to end in .pls otherwise they crash MPlayer...
go in menu.conf and locate the Radio Streams, add yours below or above them in the SAME FORMAT!!!
DONT DELETE ANY OF THESE FILES, otherwise MPLAYER WILL NOT WORK AS INTENDED!
MPlayer has had many bugs fixed, it now includes aspect ratio, true dvd speed cache, USB fixes, auto-chain
(therefore, it can be used as a channel/legal of course!!! BUT still as always requires the mplayer_ce files on SD
!!!!!!!!!USE AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!!!!!!
!!!customisation!!!
check my loop.avi I hope you use this one, but you can change it...*Hint Hint*
!Video/aspect!
MPlayerCE now has AutoAspect Original...
If you feel you need to autoboot mplayer to 16/9 or 2:35 then add a line like ratio=1.7778 to mplayer.conf
YOU CAN STILL USE IN MENU ASPECT OPTIONS
Also the original loop.avi shows as 4/3 this is due to MPlayer, to have a FULLSCREEN loop.avi
as i said above type in a line like ratio=1.7778 in mplayer.conf
this will auto to 16/9 and show loop.avi full screen with no cuts.....abnd menu layout is good aswell.
From all of us who have helped fix/test this player......Enjoy djdynamite123

it will pause and re-buffer to fill cache-min value, to prevent possible hangs
with bad connections. You can see the cache by pressing 1 twice on the wiimote,
when cache drops to 3% then it will pause.
* Shoutcast TV is complete with caching, thanx to Extrems, Review menu.conf.
* If IOS202 is installed via the Installer then DVDx is not required for DVD Access.
New cIOS Installer:
MPlayerCE will now detect the presence of IOS202 to decide to use DVDx or not,
so people that install the cIOS202 don't need to install DVDx to use the DVD functions.
Default DVDx install can be used if you install IOS202 now.
The new installer is for Homebrew USB2 only, this will install IOS202
using base IOS60 automatically as IOS60 has improvements in wifi.
Now you can select the IOS to use to do the installation,
so you can select a IOS with the fake sign bug.
(The reason for DVDx not having to be installed if IOS202 is installed on the wii,
is that there is a patch in IOS202 that doesn't require DVDx,
and can access DVD without it).
The cIOS is needed for MPlayerCE to use the USB2 driver.
0.62
* USB LAN Adaptor support fixed (again). Thanks to CountZ3ro for testing. Please note that you will need to install the USB 2.0 cIOS.

Zum cIOS Installer ist folgendes zu sagen:
ZitatAlles anzeigenThe installer is for Homebrew USB2 only, this will install IOS202 using base IOS60 automatically.
You can select the IOS to use to do the installation, so you can select a IOS with the fake sign bug. (IOS60 is downloaded to SD via the Nintendo's Update Server).
We are using IOS60 as a base as there has been improvements in wifi.
Those that install this cIOS do not require a DVDx installation.
Users without the fakesign bug cannot install the cIOS to use USB2.
There is a work around for this but we cannot advise about it.
Unfortunately there is nothing we can do about it.
If you plan on updating make sure to install the cIOS and DVDx before updating.
um Filme von DVD zu starten musst du noch IOS247 Insatallieren
alles aus dem Download auf die SD Karte kopieren
Dann in der Reihenfolge Installieren:
* IOS247.wad
* DVDX 247.wad
