Q: How do i format my HDD for extra partition support?
A: We have reached out to scene members with details. Their tools
will be updated to make this process easier for you. We will also
release a Xbox app that you can run on your xbox.

Q: When will there be 1.4 - 1.6 support?
A: We currently have support for those hardware revisions disabled
during this alpha stage of testing. Once we are happy with the
testing and feedback received from the community we will introduce
new features & hardware support.

Q: What about IGR & fan speed control, what gives?
A: Like mentioned above some features have been disabled. These will
make an appearance in future build releases.

Q: My dashboard cant see my extra partitions 8-14.
A: Some dashboards were programed to only support F & G therefore
your extra partitions wont show. We suggest using XBMC which supports
6 extra partitions. As new dashboards and apps are developed we are
sure that they will include support for extra partitions.

Q: Will this run on XEMU?.
A: Yes

Eine kleine Warnung vorweg. Es handelt sich hierbei um ein ALPHA (!!11ELF!) Bios. Dies ist nur für XBox v1.0 / v1.1 / v1.2 / v1.3.

Bilder gibt es eigentlich keine. Die Faktenlage ist imo auch noch recht dünn. Was man bisher weis steht in der nfo die ja oben steht.

Kurz gesagt ein neues Bios welches bis zu 8TB große HDD's supportet und gefixten support für 128MB ram (Vermutlich ähnlich dem was Rocky5 beim iND 5003 XISO gemacht hat).

Das düften wohl die beiden größten Features sein. Wobei die 128MB für kaum jemand eine Rolle spielen dürften.

Eaton (Der Entwickler vom FatXplorer 3.0) hat support diesbezüglich angekündigt wie ich eben erfahren habe. Damit wäre es dann möglich die extra Partitionen am PC zu formatieren und einzurichen.

Soll wohl vorraussichtlich in der nächsten Version kommen.

Ich bin noch nicht dazu gekommen das Bios zu testen.Werd ich die Tage mal machen und schauen. Meine Test Konsole ist glücklicherweise eine 1.1.

Und wenn ich weiteres erfahre werde ich das hier posten.

Und wieder eine gute news.

Eaton hat sein FatXplorer auf die version beta 19 angehoben und supportet nun das formatieren von großen HDD's über 2 TB für die gute alte XBox. Somit kann man für das Cerbios eine HDD am PC aufsetzten (Unter zu hilfe nahme vom OGXBox Installer 2021 für FatXplorer z.B. (Eigenwerbung *lach*))

Naja.... ~ 2,5 - 3 TB für alle XBox Games. Dazu dann eine nette Mischung aus PS1 + N64 + SNES + MD usw. und der rest in dann für Urlaubsfilme . Wobei dann 16TB bestimmt wieder nicht reichen.

Also 2 x 16TB per switch und das DVD LW raus. 32TB sind dann bestimmt ausreichend.

Das es möglich ist, ist schon echt nice. Da wird dann wohl die Tage was neues vom Team Cerbios kommen die ja noch bei 8TB fest hängen.

Aber persönlich finde 8TB schon overkill.

Nehmen wir an du packst dir die ganzen PAL games drauf + alle US uncut games dann reichen 4TB immer noch dicke aus und es ist noch platz für ein paar PS1 spiele. Davon ab sind da massig games bei wie NFL 1 bis 99 NHL 1 - 99 NBL 1-99 usw. die man eh nicht spielt und eigentlich nur platz rauben (Jaja 16TB.... ) .

Um ehrlich zu sein, das beste setup ist eine 400 oder 500 GB PATA platte und da dann das drauf was du auch spielst. Der geschwindigkeitsverlust bei den ganzen SATA adaptern ist teils echt übel.

Ich war mal so frei und hab die EvoX m8+ Bios Files mit dem TITAN patch gepatched.

Fixes the xmv player xbe.

Download the Create 512kb Bios.zip and unzip it.

Name your bios "bios.bin" and drag and drop it over the Create 512kb Bios.bat. You will get a new bios named " bios.512kb.bin ". If you like to flash that with XblastOS rename it to " bios.bin " and place it on C in a folder called " Bios " (C:\Bios\bios.bin).

ja kann man machen. Du musst deine HDD aber neu machen und mit FatXplorer 3.0 beta 21 aufsetzten.

Lohnt also auch nur bei HDD's ÜBER 2TB sonnst ist das bios total nutzlos und man kann beim iND 5003 XISO oder EvoX M8+ blieben.

Und Cerbios macht auch nur wirklich sinn wenn man einen StarTech SATA mit UDMA5 mod hat.
