L4T Ubuntu ist eine Linux-Version, die auf Linux für Tegra-Projekt von Nvidia basiert.
Features
Native Unterstützung von JoyCon und Switch Pro Controller:
JoyCons können über die Linux-Bluetooth-Einstellungen oder über Hekate gepaart werden, um die Verwendung in HOS, Linux und Android ohne Reparatur zu ermöglichen.
Die JoyCons funktionieren über Bluetooth, sind auf der Switch aufgereiht und werden über USB durch den JoyCon-Ladegriff verbunden. Es können mehrere Paare angeschlossen werden und durch Drücken von L/R oder SL/SR wird die Controller-Orientierung gewählt.
Der Switch Pro Controller funktioniert über Bluetooth und über USB. Im switchroot-Discord finden Sie Anweisungen, wie Sie die Bluetooth-Pairing-Informationen für den Pro Controller erhalten (manuelle Dateibearbeitung sowie ein x86_64-Linux-PC zum Ausführen des Programms erforderlich). Sie können auch über die Linux/Android-Bluetooth-Einstellungen pairen, aber das Pairing stimmt nicht mit HOS überein.
Sowohl JoyCons als auch Switch Pro Controller haben ihre IMU (Beschleunigungsmesser/Gyro) als udev-Eingänge in Linux und können in Spielen/Programmen mit Unterstützung verwendet werden (Dolphin-Emulator ist ein gutes Beispiel)
Unterstützung für Switch Docked HDMI/Displayport Output:
Unterstützung für das offizielle Nintendo Switch Dock sowie für HDMI/Displayport-Adapter/Docks/Hubs von Drittanbietern ist in Linux/Android vorhanden. Das offizielle Dock erfordert eine Stromversorgung über das offizielle Netzteil oder besser (15V 2,6A+ und 5V 1,5A+ PD-Profile vom Ladegerät erforderlich). Viele Adapter/Docks/Hubs von Drittanbietern können ohne zusätzliche Stromversorgung oder mit Strom von einem USB-C-PD-Netzteil verwendet werden.
Das offizielle Original Nintendo Switch Dock ist in der Lage, Auflösungen bis zu 4k 30hz oder 1440p 60hz zu erreichen. Einige Adapter von Drittanbietern können diese Auflösungen ebenfalls erreichen. (Hinweis: Jede Nicht-OLED-Switch-Hardware ist nicht in der Lage, 4k 60hz auszugeben)

USB-C-OTG-Unterstützung umschalten:
OTG über USB-C ist aktiviert und Geräte können im stromlosen Zustand bis zu 1,3 A ziehen.
Stromversorgte OTG-Adapter werden nicht unterstützt. Es wird empfohlen, einen Hub/Dock (der normalerweise HDMI/Displayport enthält) zu verwenden, wenn USB und Stromzufuhr gewünscht sind.
Unterstützung für Beschleunigungsmesser/Gyroskopie und Drehung:
Die automatische Drehung wird in DE unterstützt, wenn sie aktiviert ist. Der eingebaute Beschleunigungsmesser/Kreisel ist im Userspace NICHT als udev-Eingang verfügbar.
Stattdessen wird er zusammen mit dem Umgebungslichtsensor und dem Lüftertachometer als iio-Gerät abgebildet.
Voraussetzungen
- Mit einem Modchip (SX Core, SX Lite oder HWFLY) gechipte Konsolen müssen mit hwfly-nx (ab Version 0.7.2) geflasht worden sein
- Hekate ab Version 6.0.3 / NYX ab Version 1.5.3
- Eine 8 GB Linux (EXT4) Partition, erstellt über Hekate
1. Lade dir das 7z Archiv über den Link weiter unten herunter und extrahiere die Daten auf deinem PC
2. (optional falls keine Neueinrichtung der SD-Karte durchgeführt wird)
a) Sicherung normaler Dateien von FAT32
b) Wenn emuMMC vorhanden ist, verwende Hekate, um es zu sichern (Tools -> Backup eMMC)
c) Wenn android existiert, erstelle ein TWRP-Backup
3. Partitioniere deine SD-Karte in Hekate (Tools -> Partition SD-Card) und lasse mindestens 7 GB für FAT32 für die in Schritt 1 heruntergeladenen Installationsdateien übrig UND erstelle ggfs. alle Partitionen neu, die du möglicherweise gesichert hast!
4. Kopiere die extrahierten Dateien aus dem 7z Archiv auf die SD-FAT32-Partition (Vorschlag: Verwende Hekate UMS (Tools --> USB Tools --> SD Card) mit einem USB-C-Kabel, das deine Switch und deinen PC verbindet, um die SD-Karte zu mounten, anstatt die SD-Karte aus der Switch zu entnehmen und am PC anzuschließen)
5. Gehe in Hekate auf Tools -> Partition SD -> Flash Linux
6. In Hekate (Nyx Options -> Dump Joy-Con BT), um die Daten der Joy-Con-Kopplung zu löschen, wenn die Joy-Cons an die Konsole angeschlossen sind, nachdem sie in Hekate gekoppelt wurden.

Du kannst nun deine Backups wiederherstellen
Kopiere die normalen Dateien nach FAT32
Für emuMMC verwende Hekate, um dein Backup wiederherzustellen (Tools -> Restore eMMC)
Für Android, kopiere dein TWRP-Backup auf deine FAT32-Partition und folge dann den Schritten und 4 dieser Android Anleitung, aber anstatt "Lineage zip, gefolgt von Ihrem GApps zip" in Schritt 4.g zu installieren, um dein Backup in TWRP wiederherzustellen!
8. Über die Option "More Configs" aus dem Hekate Hauptmenü, kann jetzt zu L4T Ubuntu gebootet, und das initiale Setup von L4T Ubuntu durchgeführt werden.
amsPLUS Nutzer können zudem auch über das Tesla Menü --> fastCFWswitch --> Ubuntu unmittelbar aus dem HOS zu L4T Linux booten, wenn diese Option über den TegraExplorer freigeschaltet wurde.

Kernel/Driver changes
- RAM for T210B01 is now actually allowed to reach max possible frequency
In order for that to happen, DVFS was reworked to allow changes to GPU minimum voltage on the fly.
If RAM frequency changes to one that requires more voltage, depends on GPU binning, it will now automatically get raised.
That's dynamic and on idle or if ram bandwidth requirement and frequency drops, it switches back to stock minimum.
That allows for more fine tuned power draws, without the need to have GPU min voltage raised all the time.
Since RAM OC can raise GPU voltages, again, depends on GPU binning, consideration must be given based on needed workloads.
All previous test results on max ram frequency are now obsolete. - The memory PTSA driver's calculations were "reworked"
That allows efficient use of ram when frequencies exceed 2133 MHz and especially when they exceed 2833 MHz
Driver rework gets enabled automatically depending on bootloader version.
On T210, that feature is disabled. Frequencies of > 2133 will just use the old method (exceeding 1.5 ratio). - T210B01 RAM max frequency allowed is now 3200 MHz (raised from 3000)
- T210B RAM max frequency allowed is now 2366 MHz (raised from 2133)
- A critical issue was fixed that was disallowing a great number of Bluetooth devices to pair
- Fixed a rare bug that would cause a race condition and would stop the booting process
- Fixed all Nvidia bugs on T210B01's True RNG HW driver and a new driver was added to call it, so it can be used for rng seeding properly
- Joycon railed driver now allows more clones to work (for example non-bt clones that do not follow the proper procedure)
- An issue was fixed where the IMU input reports of Switch Lite gamepad would fail to be parsed if IMU chip was Invensense
- Fixed an issue where kernel would try to use CEC on docks with incompatible DP CEC emulation chip

- Switch Multimedia package (ffmpeg-l4t, ffplay-l4t, mpv-l4t) was updated to allow proper fallback to software codecs.
If pixel format of the medium is provided via probing, the hardware codec will check if it is out of spec (e.g x264/x265 instead of h264/hevc) and will use the software decoding for it.
Additionally, lua/json scripting and osd-gui were enabled for mpv-l4t - System FFMpeg was updated with the same changes also

- SD/eMMC Dramatic Performance Increases
Support for SD card UHS DDR200 allowing for up to 200MB/s on UHS-I bus (up from 104MB/s). (Needs hekate 6.0.3).
That marks the first device in the world to even support this. (HW is 4 years older than DDR200 and doesn't provide official support).
Read performance increased by 2-20% and write by 50-200% on SD and eMMC. That's by fixing an almost 2 decades old bug.
Fixed an old Nvidia bug where it would decrease SD/eMMC performance by 60% after a deep sleep.
Decreased latency/access times and improved random transfers (4k IOPS)
Added support for SD card cache
SD Card VDDC/VDDQ regulators are now disabled on deep sleep. Increases standby times dramatically on chipped switch that use the proper SD card VDD point.
On failed inits, the SD card will now be power-cycled fully and driver will try to reduce bus timing progressively, instead of falling back to HS25 immediately. Finally, retries are now instant, instead of taking 2-5s.

Useful when you are constantly docked and want to protect battery's life.
Limit gets saved and applied on boot.
Reminder that discharging can't happen when plugged in. Even when charging is off, usb power is used to supplement system.
So you need to discharge first if you want the battery % to go inside the limit.
That also disables charging in sleep in order for the feature to work.
If you reboot/shutdown, it gets disabled and re-enabled at the next L4T boot.
As always the source is public and all L4T based projects for Switch will benefit (L4T linux distros/Lakka/Android)
